I am reading What I Know for Sure: My Story of growing Up in America by Tavis Smiley. The content reminds me of the experience I had while attending a Jesuit college, John Carroll University. During the years of 1972-1976 it was "Intergrate Without Interaction" for minority students at this university. Many of the students, staff and faculty did not enbrace diversity well at this time of my experiences.
